THE HYDRA RAINMASTER TRIO SELF-CLEANING RAINWATER FILTERS ARE THREE STAGE UNITS, FILTERING HARVESTED RAINWATER.
They have an exclusive counter-current self-cleaning first stage filter with a stainless steel net cartridge and filtration degree of 50 micron; the second stage refines the filtration to 30 micron, thanks to a wound wire cartridge; the third stage instead is the treatment using granulated activated carbon or carbon-block, for improvement of taste, odour and colour of water.
This way the unpleasant characteristics that rainwater takes on during its journey all the way to the accumulation tank are eliminated. The impurities collected by the first stage can be ejected manually, using the drain tap and funnel with anti-reflux system.
The three stage self-cleaning rainwater filters are available with 3/4″ IN/OUT connection plastic thread BSP.
This system should be installed after your pump, to treat water as it is pumped to the point of use.
NB – This system does not eliminate bacteria present in rainwater, and hence it does not guarantee drinking water quality. For bacteria elimination, an Ultra-Violet Steriliser Lamp should be installed after the Hydra Rainmaster Trio.
